RENTAL DESCRIPTION:

Bring the family to this nice quiet neighborhood. Perfect for bicycles and a short walk to beach. Located at the northernmost end of Rockaway Beach, peace & serenity are yours for the taking! This home is small (720 sq. ft.) but still offers all that you need for your vacation. Fully equipped with new furnishings. Loft upstairs has a queen and twin and there is a sofa bed in living room downstairs. Large wrap around deck and large yard give plenty of space for all of your outdoor activities. BBQ & Chiminea provided. Swing set for the kids! Mountains to the East and big wide open sandy beaches to the West. Nedonna beach marsh wetlands, the south end of Nehalem Bay State park offer many fun adventures to the north. To the south, you can walk to downtown Rockaway Beach and you'll pass Manhattan Beach State park. Go past the downtown area of Rockaway Beach and you'll have easy access to a Cedar wetlands preserve that hosts one of the biggest western red cedars in the region. Look for trail head off of Washington St. (East side of 101).

Downtown Rockaway Beach has a handful of shops and restaurants, several markets and don't forget to take a train ride! Munson Creek Falls is a very easy walk for those with difficulty walking/hiking. whale watching is a favorite past time. Sometimes they come in close to the surf to scrape their bellies in the sand. Sometimes Killer whales can be seen.
